I installed this app and THEN drove in Congestion Charge Zone / ULEZ

Fantastic news then!

Your "Driving in the Zone" History

If you see a big red button on your main screen this mean you have used the app at least once while driving to or from the Congestion Charge zone and can access the list of assumed entries and exists to and from Congestion Charge zone recorded by the app. Bear in mind that the app uses GPS location to record your position and the app is not connected to TfL system! It might not have your complete travel history.

How to Use the App

When you’re out of the zone – the app will show the distance to the closest entry to the zone. Just open the app and find out whether you are inside the zone or not. The green notification area in the bottom of the screen means you’re out of the zone, whereas the red one – when you’re in. You’ll get a push notification each time you cross the Zone’s border – both on entry and exit.

Once located within a zone, users can track all their past entries in the journey diary and find charge listings inside, all collated by date. If you cross the Zone at least once, you’ll see a diary indicator. The app is aware of Congestion Charge Zone scheduling and tracks charges accordingly.

The app is not connected to any TfL systems and only uses GPS to save time and date when you travelled over the Zone's boundary based on your location.

Therefore:

  • The app is unable to show your previous trips to the Zone, if it wasn't open while driving

  • The app might miss entry/exit due to weak GPS signal, we recommend to keep your phone on your dashboard in a phone holder

  • This is not an official TfL app, this is a navigational assistance app with a trip diary. It is your responsibility to contact Transport for London and arrange for payments of charges and penalties.

  • It is your responsibility to check with TfL if you have travelled to the Zone on a particular day, if in doubt.

This app will only show you the diary of assumed entries and exits into Congestion Charge zone only if it was open and running while driving. This is because this app is not connected to any of Transport for London systems and is only designed as navigational aid (GPS) for drivers in London.
